Terms of Service

By accessing our website or purchasing any service from SoulWork Praxis Inc., you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.
About SoulWork Praxis
SoulWork Praxis Inc. is a federally incorporated Canadian corporation offering formation-based coaching, leadership development, and immersive retreat experiences. Our services are provided by Funmi Fatona-Ayowole, a certified coach and formation practitioner.
Not a clinical or therapeutic service
SoulWork Praxis services, including coaching sessions, retreats, and facilitated group experiences, are coaching and formation-based in nature. They are not therapy, counselling, psychotherapy, or any form of clinical mental health treatment, and should not be treated as a substitute for professional mental health care. If you are experiencing a mental health crisis or require clinical treatment, please seek support from a qualified healthcare professional.
Retreat registration and payment
By registering for a SoulWork Praxis retreat, you agree to the following:
- Full payment or a 60% deposit is required at the time of registration to secure your place
- Where a deposit payment plan is selected, the remaining 40% balance will be invoiced and must be paid no later than 3 weeks before your retreat date
- Failure to pay the balance by the due date may result in forfeiture of your place without refund of the deposit
- All prices are in Canadian dollars (CAD) and subject to applicable taxes including HST
- Payments are processed securely through Stripe
Cancellation and refund policy
- Full refunds are available for cancellations made 30 or more days before your retreat date
- Cancellations made within 30 days of the retreat date are non-refundable
- You may transfer your registration to another SoulWork Praxis retreat date at no charge, subject to availability, if you notify us at least 14 days before your original retreat date
- SoulWork Praxis reserves the right to cancel or reschedule a retreat due to insufficient registrations, unforeseen circumstances, or events beyond our control. In such cases, a full refund will be provided

Coaching services
Coaching engagements are subject to a separate coaching agreement provided at the time of onboarding. Payment terms, session scheduling, and cancellation policies for coaching services are outlined in that agreement.
Participant responsibility
By participating in SoulWork Praxis services, you acknowledge that you are voluntarily choosing to engage in coaching and formation work, you take full responsibility for your own wellbeing, choices, and actions, and the results of your participation depend on your own commitment and effort. SoulWork Praxis cannot guarantee specific outcomes.
Confidentiality
SoulWork Praxis holds all personal information shared in coaching sessions and retreat spaces in strict confidence, except where disclosure is required by law. Retreat participants are also asked to maintain the confidentiality of other participants' personal disclosures.
Intellectual property
All content on this website, including text, frameworks, tools, and materials, is the intellectual property of SoulWork Praxis Inc. and may not be reproduced, distributed, or used without written permission.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, SoulWork Praxis Inc. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of our website or participation in our services.
Governing law
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein.
Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of our website or services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
