Funmi Fatona-Ayowole is a formation-based coach, emotional health practitioner, speaker, and the founder of SoulWork Praxis. What she brings to this work is not theory borrowed from a curriculum. It is insight forged from navigating the exact terrain her clients bring to the room.

From high-performing to whole

For over a decade, Funmi built a career that looked exactly like success. Across advertising agencies in Nigeria and Canada — Grey, Publicis, McCann, Wunderman Thompson — she led campaigns for global brands, managed multidisciplinary teams, and delivered results at the highest levels of the industry. She was competent, credible, and consistently excellent.

But excellence, she learned, is not the same as wholeness.

The inner work that followed moved through grief, through faith, through professional reinvention, through learning to name things she had spent years functioning around. And it was in that movement — from fracture toward coherence — that she discovered what she was actually built to do. Not manage campaigns. Steward transformation.

Why SoulWork Praxis exists

In 2021, Funmi founded The Virtual Soul Clinic — a registered non-profit providing free, trauma-informed emotional wellness support to over 1,300 people through a team of 80+ volunteer coaches. What began as a response to need became a confirmation of calling.

SoulWork Praxis is that space. Built for leaders, professionals, and organizations ready to move beyond insight into lived alignment.
